Introducing VoIP Aware, a powerful VoIP Management system developed from the ground up to provide administrators with the tools necessary to effectively manage their voice and fax over IP deployments. VoIP Aware contains several features that span an entire suite of applications, and is designed for users that are new to VoIP in addition to those with several years of experience. Proactive Diagnostics - Solve Problems Faster
VoIP Aware allows administrators to quickly identify and solve problems with their voice and fax over IP deployments by proactively generating diagnostic data for every SIP call in real-time. Whereas generating diagnostic data has traditionally been a reactive process, it is only undertaken after a problem has been reported or encountered. Reactive testing is notoriously time consuming and does not guarantee that sufficient data can be generated for analysis. VoIP Aware continuously monitors and captures all SIP calls on a network, thereby eliminating the need for reactive testing and ensuring that administrators have access to all of a call’s original diagnostic data immediately after the problem has been encountered.
CDR Generation - Easily Navigate and Search Through Calls Historically
VoIP Aware generates clean and easy-to-read CDRs for all calls and stores them chronologically to a call log. From here, administrators can be navigate or search from several days, weeks, months (or even years) past. These CDRs are generated directly from the Ethernet and are an accurate record of all the calls observed by the system. From each CDR, administrators can view a call’s details, reproduce its media (audio or fax), or retrieve its diagnostic data for analysis. They can also be used for administrative purposes such as reconciling statements received from service providers.
Simple Call Recording - Reproduce Audio and Fax Pages from Completed Calls
VoIP Aware is also a simple call recorder, allowing users to reproduce audio and fax pages from the captured packets of completed calls. Extracted audio and fax media are saved to open file formats .wav and .tif respectively, meaning no special proprietary software is required for playback. Administrators can use this feature to reproduce a user’s quality of experience, or simply use the recordings for training, regulatory, quality assurance or other purposes.
