1U Enclosure Features:
Now available as an upgrade option, the foneBRIDGE2 can be delivered in an industrial grade EIA standard 1U short-depth enclosure. Equipped with removable rack mount ears, the enclosure can be quickly reconfigured to be mounted flat on a wall board, along side otherTelco equipment
The enclosure can accommodate up to two foneBRIDGE2 boards in any combination of Single, Dual or Quad port configurations, with or without on-board echo cancellation. Its modular design allows for the quick addition of a 2nd foneBRIDGE board when T1/E1 site capacity needs to be added. Our latest design also provides for shared timing across the two boards with an internal timing cable in order to ensure consistent timing sync to all T1/E1 ports.
Keeping with our core philosophy of providing highly reliable equipment the 1U enclosure includes a single industrial grade PSU that is completely solid state and is capable of powering two foneBRIDGES.
About the foneBRIDGE2:
foneBRIDGE2 is a T1/E1 PRI-to-Ethernet Bridge. It is an integrated black-box "appliance" designed to streamline installation and enable redundant design of Asterisk based VoIP systems.
foneBRIDGE2 eliminates the need to install proprietary TDM hardware cards in approved/compatible server configurations. Instead, foneBRIDGE2 terminates T1/E1 PRI lines on the trunk side and provides direct Ethernet communication to a network of Asterisk servers using native Asterisk TDMoE formats and utilities.
Engineered around our unique high-speed SoC (System-on-Chip) TDMoE engine, foneBRIDGE2 provides low-latency delivery of your critical voice traffic.
